Cheryl was born in Oklahoma, camping thru the incredible wilderness areas of Sedona, the Grand Canyon & Zion before the age of three. Living by woods and wildlife, Cheryl grew up talking to plants & animals in Pennsylvania and Florida. Cheryl's parents encouraged artistic and musical development beginning with crayons & ukulele, evolving into piano, violin, clarinet, guitar, bass guitar & vocals. Artistic talent refining thru pencil drawings, charcoal & watercolors with technical and advanced art/drafting courses. Classically influenced by private oil painting lessons with master painter Ray Crosby. Graduated with high honors from the Southeast Center for Photo/Graphic Arts in graphic art & advertising design, Daytona Beach, Florida. First place for institute of outdoor advertising's national college essay contest, San Francisco. Cheryl worked with a fantastic creative team doing graphics, illustration & photography for an ad agency in Ormond Beach, Florida. Merging talents with Darryl Gama, one, then two, airbrush t-shirt shops in Daytona Beach. Yearning for a simpler pace of life, Cheryl & Darryl sold the shops, heading west into the unknown, trusting. Many adventures and reincarnations include fine wearable art in Scottsdale, Arizona, and gypsy traveling for ten years of fairs, festivals & pow-wows in North America. Cheryl is currently living in paradise, on the Big Island of Hawaii, painting murals & faux finishes in private homes and businesses, banners for birthdays and weddings, automotive murals, fine art paintings, geometric/structural creations, fine art prints and giclees.
Traveling with fellow artist & former husband Darryl, from 1989 to 2000, painting, photographing & playing music west of Colorado's Rocky Mountains instilled vast appreciation for the beauty & simplicity of life in the wilderness. Years of sharpening senses and sensitivity living in the forests where bears and mountain lions also call home instilled respect for and harmony with the natural order of life. Sharing homespun music around many a campfire with humbly magnificent musicians and Native American friends deepened my recognition of our connection with the earth, each other and everything. A special thanks and appreciation to all the many beautiful souls that bless and enrich my life ... especially to Darryl Gama for all the wilderness adventures, sharing inspiration, art & magical music ... Special interests include yoga, meditation, wild-crafting herbs. Offering intuitive alternative healing, certified Meta Reiki practitioner, bio-magnetic touch healing, sound healing, synesthesia (state of coherent oneness achieved by simultaneous activation of all five senses) opening new awareness, stirring ancient memories.

Cheryl makes house calls for color consultations, faux finishes and painting murals directly on interior and exterior walls, ... unique tropical scenery, dolphins, whales, exotic flowers, color harmony, interior design, client's considerations, geometry, intuition, and feng shui elements fuse to create magical environments.
Playing music with the Bhakti Tribe ... a funtastic collection of gypsy spirits who provide "the live experience" ... the art of devotion thru music is expressed in exomorphic world fusion improvisation with flavors of celtic, spanish, sufi, brazilian, native american, african, middle eastern, new age, and ancient melodies to stir the soul and ignite our inner passion.
